Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using testCard you accept these terms and the Privacy notice. If you don't agree, don't use the service. The service is operated by [name of the person or company that operates the service].

2. What the service is

testCard helps you save the details of the business cards you receive, organize them, follow up and share your own digital card. Today it is a test (beta) version: it may have errors and change.

3. Your account

You sign in with a link we send to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email: whoever opens it can enter your account. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Save data about people who didn't give it to you or that you obtained unlawfully.
• Use the service to send spam, harass, defraud or for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload images or text that are unlawful, offensive or that you have no right to use.
• Try to get around plan limits, automate the service without permission or affect its operation for other people.

5. Your data and third parties' data

You are responsible for the data you save and for having the right to save it. We store it on your behalf, according to the Privacy notice.

You send the follow-up messages yourself from your own WhatsApp, email or SMS: the service only opens the app with the text written. You are responsible for complying with the laws on commercial messages and consent that apply to your contacts (for example, CAN-SPAM and TCPA in the United States).

6. Reading with artificial intelligence

Automatic card reading can make mistakes. Always review the details before saving; we don't guarantee they are accurate or complete.

7. Your public digital card

The details and the photo or logo you publish on your digital card can be seen by anyone with the link or the QR code. Choose carefully what to publish and use only images you have the right to use. Your card's link can't be changed once created, so the QR codes you share keep working.

8. Plans, limits and pricing

The Free plan includes 5 scans per month, plus 15 welcome scans during the first 2 weeks of the account. Paid plans are not available yet; when they are, we will publish their price and conditions before charging, and we won't charge anything without your confirmation. We may adjust limits with reasonable prior notice.

9. Availability and warranties

The service is offered “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it running and to protect your data, but we don't guarantee there will be no interruptions, errors or data loss. We recommend exporting your contacts from time to time.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that puts the service or other people at risk.

11. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms; we will publish the new version here and, if the change is important, we will let you know by email. Continuing to use the service means you accept the change.
